Default apples to apples 454 Casull to 460 comp?

Has anyone chronographed full house Casull and 460 same bullet weight through the same gun (or same barrel length)?

What was the velocity difference for say a 260, 300 or 335 grain bullet? I am interested in the actual measured, not published values.

Thanks
Kurt

200 to 300 fps between them out of 7.5" X-frame for same bullet, if you load 325 grain or heavier the the gap gets even larger.

355 grain HC out 454 1550 fps - 460 1980fps both at 57kpsi out of 8" test barrel

Some time back I posted 460 loads velocities for same bullets out of the various barrel lengths.

be safe

Groo here
Modern loads for the 454 are some what watered down.
When we loaded for the FA revolver only , some of the loadings
would go 80,000psi or higher [careful with the "old data"]
Modern 454 cases are thicker and hold less powder.
So much so that the old loads won't fit.
I have shot loads that match factory 460 [from same length barrel]
with 240-260 gr bullets in an FA454 with the old cases and loads,
but would never shoot them in other makes of guns...
