Source for #12 lead shot
I've developed a number of shotshell loads for pistols/revolvers over the years. I use #9 and #12 shot depending on the application. I can still find #9 shot but I can't find any sources for #12.
Anyone have a source for either shot size?

I can't help with #12, but I get #9 from skeet shells.

Midway has #12 shot in stock at $42.99 for a 10 pound bag. I don't know what shipping costs. I imagine 10 pounds would go a long way if you're loading handgun shells.

At one time I think Hornady offered it in a 2# box, like buckshot

Midway looks like my best bet.
It's going to cost a ton of money no matter what.

I've gotten handfuls of 9's over the years from my skeet shooting friends. Ordering a bag of 12's will be expensive, but will probably last you for years.

Ballistic Products...They usually stock 10 11 and 12 shot although Number 11 is out of stock right now. 5 Kilo bag is priced at under 38 bucks a bag

#10's/#11's/#12's are available from Ballistic Products and Precision Reloading. Not Cheap. I like #12's in my bee loads. But have settled for 9's as they are cheaper and easier to get.

Your mailbox is full. I can't give you shipping instructions.
M.O is on the way.

If you're an Amazon prime member you can buy shot with no shipping costs. They sell bags as small as 5 lbs.
