Hey folks,
Fun times !
Anyway, might have a class coming up. Needed to run up a few hundred rounds of 9mm .
Settled on running 124 gr fmj in my DW PM9.
Should be a nice load to shoot for a couple of days.
I'm prepping for a move out of state so my data books are in boxes somewhere.
I've been poking around the net for BE data because I have tons of that and its a known quantity. I have been loading with PP, but here goes with the BE in 9mm for me.
What I've come up with is that Alliant lists 4.4 gr as max for the 124 gr JHP , they don't list data for a 124 gr FMJ.
So poking around I seem to see folks favoring a 4.3gr charge of BE for that projectile.
What do y'all say ? My OAL is 1.14 so I'm maximal in that department.
Seen folks running it hotter. but I'm shooting indoors , don't mind a mild round as its just training ammo.
What charges of BE have you used with your 124gr FMJ ?
