A nice Saturday reloading and relaxing.
I was just thinking of how relaxing this weekend has started off. Last Wednesday I went to the range and shot 100 rounds each of 9MM and 45 ACP and 200 rounds of 357 Mag and finished processing the brass by yesterday. Since everything is screwy with this covid 19 stuff, I figured I would do a little reloading today. So I primed all 400 of those cases and decided to reload the 357 Mag. The first box of 100 I loaded with 5.7 grains of Alliant Sport Pistol and Bayou 158 SWC bullets and the second hundred I used 7.5 grains of Longshot with the same bullets to make a bit hotter load. I had shot the Sport Pistol load last Wednesday and found it to be a darn fun load and accurate to boot and wanted the Longshot loads for something a little hotter without resorting to 2400 or other nuclear load powders.
After loading those up, I decided to celebrate with a nice glass of Knob Creek Single Barrel on ice to finish the day off. The daughter and SIL are out camping, so I am having a nice quiet weekend.
Tomorrow I might look at reloading the 45 ACP or 9MM or both.
What are y'all doing this weekend?

As Amazon/USPS messed up plan A, and I’ve already completed plan B, I may break out the tumbler and clean brass.
Though this virus may cause me to do the most hateful of all tasks, separate the small and large primer 45acp brass. But not quite yet.

Wife bought a new couch, so she ran me ragged today picking up the rent a truck, loading and taking our old couch to a buyer 20 miles away and then picking up our new one in another town. Unload it, of course, and then return said truck. Home by 5:30 PM and the day is shot. I told her don't bother me tomorrow!

I did some reloading, also. Loving the cool weather during a self imposed quarantine.
Playing with 45acp loads using Titegroup with 200gr LSWC's, 230gr LRN coated and some 200gr LRN plated.
Prepped some 357 cases for tomorrow's loads.

I'm planning to meet up with my brother at the range Monday. Don't know what we'll shoot yet, but I haven't brought a 44 Mag to the range in a while. And maybe bring my AR too; it's been ages since I shot it.

Thatīs what Iīm also doing - resizing , depriming, cleaning , and priming about 75 .45 AR in what I call a most satisfactory time consuming activity with my Lee Loader.
Lot of time is spent but who is in a hurry ?
Regards, Ray

I have 2200 rounds of 9mm to reassemble so that should keep me busy for a while.

I've been tumbling/sorting 9mm brass for the past few weeks (1,000 pcs per load), and loading 100-150 per week. As soon as I get the 9mm caught up, I'll start on 38/357; then 45 auto and 40 S&W last. Being retired there is no reason to be in a rush, and with the COVID-19 thing, no place to go either. No complaints here :-)
