Default Unique and 20/28

Has anyone used 20/28 in the place of Unique? It's accepted among shotshell reloaders that 20/28 is a denser form of Unique with the same burning rate and pressures are comparable with the same charge weights.

I use it in 28 gauge loads for shooting clays

I seem to recall the manufacture saying Not to use it in metallic cartridges?

I dont know if this still holds true?

On the Ruger Forum a year or two ago, a trusted member posted in a thread that he got very similar results with 250gr X 7.5gr loads with @ 10 or 15 fps more velocity with 20/28 vs Unique and no signs of excess pressure......
