What he said.
Also, I used 200 pieces of their .45 ACP brass to form .38-45 Clerk cases, and not one was lost to splitting, etc. Very good quality!

What PPCSHOOTER said. I recently bought a new CA 45 Bulldog and feed it Jagemann brass which is made in Wisconsin. No problems.

For precision rifle it probably doesn't get any better than Lapua. For most of my handgun needs, brass takes a second place to the bullet for accuracy, speed gun games out to 40y 8" zero down, brass doesn't matter much.

PPCSHOOTER, a buddy of mine at the range has bought some of their brass, in 380 Auto if I remember correctly. It was some good looking brass too and is brass that Shooter's World has mainly been using to work up a lot of their powder data with. Looks like Natchez Shooters Supply stocks it.

Looking at their buildings on google earth, they are right next to each other.
They appear to have been built simultaneously and both built additions in 2012 at the same time.
Awfully coincidental if they are not the same company at some level.

Jagemann must be doing OK as they also added on to their facility sometime between 2011 and 2015.

I'll pass on a useful tip I learned the hard way. Brand new Starline brass may be tight in a sizing die and also stick to the powder drop die. I use Hornady One Shot case lube on new brass to reduce wear and tear on my arm the first time I load it.

/\ /\ ... I agree. New cases are very "grabbie".
The first thing I do is deburr the case mouths as there's always a rolled over edge on it's inside. (You can feel it with your little finger's nail.)
Often I'll also run the deburring tool's nose in the primer pocket to put a slight chamfer on it's edge.
Then I run them though my sizing die after using some Hornday One Shot Case lube on them.
(After sizing the new case's diameter is usually .002-.003" smaller & the case length is equally longer.)
Then I tumble clean them for about 30-45min to get the lube off & smooth them out & then length check them.
Now the new cases are not so "grabbie" & are easier to work with.

My personal favorite for major caliber revolver.
Never tried their .45acp brass, but if I ever run out of Winchester, I intend to.

have a case of NEW 38Super brass if needed. Sold the gun after forty years and have no need for the brass. I loaded a couple boxes out of the case but never got around to shooting them. This is Remington Brass. Coming to the end of things and have no use for it.?? JMHO

I only use Starline brass in my .44 magnum, which is my revolver entry in IHMSA silhouette. And, like Sierra USED to do, I always get 101 pieces of brass in their 100 piece package.

Wondering if anyone using Starline 308W brass, could tell me what the neck thickness is.
Lapua is fairly thick, & I have to neck turn it for my R700LTR. Not my favorite chore. Down to 50 pieces of Lapua 308, & considering a trial order of Starline.

It made it in yesterday. I have the press set up for 38 WC's. I need to press out about a thousand to get my inventory back to where I think it should be. It will be at least 10 days before I get to the Starline 10mm.

I use Starline in 44-40 and magnum revolver rounds, then use their 444 to make 405 JES (41/444) rifle rounds. The quality is excellent.

Back in my Schuetzen days I got a first sample of Starline 38-55 brass when it first came out... it was extremely consistent and high quality. I’ve gotten batches of Starline brass in 327 FM, 32-20, and 44-40. Other than being too squeaky clean on arrival and needing to be neck lubed to neck expand and lube, I’ve never had a problem with any of them.
I currently have thousands of rounds of used 38 Spl brass, but upon reading this am thinking strongly of ordering 250-500 rounds of this caliber to dedicate to the reactivation of Dad’s old Model 52-2... it deserves the best, as well as the reassurance of known brass.

Shoot, I even bought a couple of store bought factory boxes of HSM Cowboy Action 44 Special ammo, not because it is accurate - it ain't, but because they use Starline 44 Special cases. Last box I gave to a feller who did not realize you could shoot 44 Specials in a 44 Magunm. I told him to shoot them up, but save me the Starline brass.

I used to purchase Winchester as well as Starline but their quality control moved to the basement. Every time I purchased a package of 100, I'd find 2 or 3 with production errors that made them useless. Tired to notify Winchester but apparently fell on deaf ears. I now purchase only Starline, even a few of the harder to find calibers like 32/20 and .45 Auto Rimmed. Haven't experienced a problem with their product.

Out of literally thousands of 44 special, magnum, supermag, and 444 cases I have bought from Starline (or thru Midway),
I have only gotten 2 bad ones.
One, a nickel 44 spl, had hole punched in the side probably by the flash hole maker.
I sent a picture to Starline and 10 new cases arrived in the mail.
Now that's service with a smile.
The other was a 444 with a split neck.
Now this was their very first run of 444 and since they included 503 in the order of 500, I wrote it off to learning and setup curve.
In correspondence with them over this, the engineer admitted they also forgot to wash off some lube before the final anneal
and left some (very) toasted black glaze on the inside of some cases.
This bothers me not and is un-noticeable after firing.
The case capacity (I measured) is still very uniform.
Their 444 is heavier than Remington which is heavier than Hornady.
I think Hornady goes as light as possible to get high performance out of their loaded 444 ammo which they certainly do.
I'll always look to Starline for new brass, but have now acquired over decades pretty much what I need for my style of shooting.

Much of? What is the rest of it? So far as I know, Starline is the only company that makes .41 Magnum brass for reloading. And finding a box of Remington, or any other brand of loaded .41M ammo on a gun store shelf is less likely than finding a unicorn there. If you have another regular source, would you share it? I love Starline brass, but nice to have an alternative available.

I have mostly Starline, but also a bunch of once-fired Winchester and Remington from a guy didn't reload.
If Starline is out of 41 mag, I would be perfectly comfortable with their 41 Special brass for service (not max hunting) loads.

Last I looked, Starline was not out of .41 Magnum brass. I ordered and received 100 cases about two months ago, but what I need now are large pistol magnum primers.
I'd thought about getting some of their .41 Spl brass to make lighter loads, but that means resetting my dies every time I switch between the short and long cases. I've tried some downloaded magnum cases using W296 at 19 grains behind some Berry's 210 plated bullets that shoot really well; They're around 1175 fps MV and the gun's weight moderates the reduced recoil.
