FYI : 130gr HST 2nds now available
As of today, Thursday 6/11, MIDWAY had these available listed as 2nds at about $0.16 each.
There seemed to be an interest in these previously.
Cheers!
P.S. This, hopefully, does not violate any of the rules.

Still available...
P.S. I'm kinda' surprized: 184 views & -0- comments? I really thought more people were interested in these than I based upon previous postings...
Cheers!

They're not loaded ammo. Just bulk pack bullets that you can order by the 100 count.

I bought 200 off GB about a year ago and tried loading with several different powder combinations from 1000fps to around 1250. They shot fine and pretty accurate. Did well with water jug and wet paper test, but no better than Golden Saber or Gold Dot. The fact that they would be much slower to reload a cylinder caused me to lose interest

That's pretty HOT! with a factory +P claimed velocity of 890 fps! Well into 357 MAG territory IMHO! The bullets stayed together?
Sounds like those may have been quite the handful...?
Cheers!

Well into 357mag? Pretty anemic 357mag.

For any wadcutter in 38 Special brass, I'd think anything over 1,000 fps is pretty much moving right along...? My comment is specifically in reference to the Federal factory +P loading.
Underwood's 150 gr wadcutters are listed at 850 fps as is Buffalo Bore's 150 gr HC WC. Doubletap's +P 158 gr SWC is listed at 1,000.
These are usually considered pretty stout ammo by many.
Cheers!
P.S. Hodgdons shows only 5 of 12 MAX loads for a 148 gr LHBWC in 357 MAG that are over 1K, and none over 1,100.

Shot fine and did stay together. Wasn't really trying to stay in the .38 special range, just a comparison of several known bullets that work well for SD. Main reason we tried much hotter than normal was trying to see if they would start keyholing like the old HBWC that we used to load with the hollow base up. They shot good up to about 20 yards and expanded like crazy but would keyhole around 25 or 30 yards out especially if you tried to push them the least bit hard. BTW, the HST never did keyhole but accuracy past 25 was not very good either.
