Question HEADSTAMPS

Anyone know when Remington stopped stamping 'PETERS' and 'REM-UMC' on their cases?? Just curious.

Early 1960s, but not all calibers at the same time. They used the old-style headstamp bunters until they wore out, and replaced them with new R-P bunters. Obviously, this happened much later for calibers which were not strong sellers. Winchester and Western went to the W-W headstamp around the same time period
