Does anyone use a RCBS Charge Master and Dispenser Combo ?

I've had mine for many years now. I really like using it to working up loads, typically 10 of each charge, then up the ladder. I used it to load several thousand of each varmint load in .223, 22-250 and 25-06 and 270. It is a little slow and mine has a couple little quirks that show up every now and then, but easily recognizable. To speed up the loading process when doing a bunch of established rifle rounds I bought a second plastic pan and using hot melt glue got it to (tare) weight exactly the same as the original pan. That allows me to remove a full pan, insert the empty pan, as soon as the scale settles back on zero it automatically starts to dispense the next charge and in the mean time I am dumping the previously dispensed pan. Once I get 10 - 20 cases charged I start introducing seating bullets into the rotation. Once I get into a rhythm I can get quite a few cases done in an hour. I do use the provided check weights before every session and any time I feel something doesn't look right or there is a stutter in the operation.

I have the Frankford Arsenal powder dispenser and it works great. I don't use it a lot but I do like it for most of my my rifle loads. It is the cheaper version of the RCBS but seems to work well and reveiws are good on it for the most part.

I've had mine several years & I load mainly pistol ammo.

By the time it's done dispensing the next charge I've seated & checked the prior round & am ready to do the next.

I'm constantly doing work-up loads & ladder strings. Being able to just key in the next/new charge on the fly is great.

Changing over to a different powder is just as easy.

I usually set my beam scale up along side it just as a confidence check.

It's worked out good for me.

I have one of the "lite" models. Works great for precision rifle loading. You will want to do the "McDonald's straw modification". As others have said, it is slow but for precision rifle reloading it is fast enough. Sure beats the days of hand trickling powder.

Well, I am old and slow as well. I have two, one for handguns and one does duty on the shotgun bench. Been using these for years and they have served me well. Nothing left to say. I just fail to understand the quest for speed in all this. The assorted projects to do in the reloading shop keep me busy when needed. I work ahead of my needs so speed is not a factor. My time on the range evens out after a couple hours per trip.

Watching golf on TV is MUCH cheaper, you can still drink, but don't have to drive home!

I use the RCBS Uniflow. It does a great job but a baffle in the hopper is ESSENTIAL, and this is probably true for many measures.

For me it shines when doing smaller lots of varying charge weights . No big hassle to switch powders etc . Marginally faster than trickle finishing thrown charges . I charge a case & while next charge is being dispensed I seat a bullet on charged case . Keeps mistakes away & you develop a rhythm . Block of primed ready to charge mouth down , flip one over & charge it , while next charge is dropping , seat bullet on charged case & set in another block . Works for me . Only do this for rifle ammo & magnum pistol rounds . Regular handgun sees the Dillon's .
