Default New load in town.........

Just got back from Utah and got the new news on shooting.

Here is what is new.........
any guesses on what this load is?

I will have another post with a picture of the rifle and data
and some other interesting info, that I picked up from this trip.

We were reaching out to 1138 yards on this 10 mph wind day....
1,500 yards can be had with low winds.

Later.

Depending on the scale 6BR to 7-08. My friends shoot 1000 yards with 6 BR with 1:8 twist and 108 VLD's all the time!

Any of those medium size rounds are very efficient, and most are super accurate!

This new round is a 6mm GT that was developed by two gentlemen and the shooter with the load in the picture has selected the 112gr Barnes bullet for the load to be used, that day at Koosharem, Utah from 300 to 1,138 yards, for a little fun.

Note;

the 6mm bullet was pushed with Varget powder and did 2,865 fps.

Very little recoil in this twenty two pound rifle.
The little 6mm has come a long way to rub shoulders with the .308 loads.
