My wife and I bought another house this past Spring and after renovations we finally got in just before Labor Day.
After doing a bit of remodeling to my load bench and setting up my press I began with the .357 Magnum.
My first loads in the new home, and what may be my first .357 Mag loads?
I've loaded a mountain of .38 Special, and likely a good sized hill of .357 Max, just don't recall ever loading the Magnum.
I had to dig and scrounge to find brass, started to trim some Max brass, but just couldn't make myself do it.
It reminded me of 2013 when I couldn't find anything for my new 7X57. I ended up resizing .257 Roberts brass that I had on hand. I still have both calibers, and still have 7X57 loads in .257 head stamped brass.
There were times 35 years ago when I had to size 7X57 down to .257 because the latter was hard to come by, never thought it would swing the other way. Sure never thought I'd consider using the Max brass for Magnums!
