The "New Reloading Marketplace"
I needed to buy a 300ACC Blackout die set on 10-6-20. All the usual places were "out of stock, backorder not allowed". Ok, lets try Cabela's Extraordinary Reloading Emporium, the store is empty so maybe Online will work.
A miracle -- RCBS Dies are In Stock, 2 day Fed Ex FREE SHIPPING, and $1.35 more expensive than the other dies not in stock. Complete the order process, informed I will receive the dies on 10-8-20. Tracking number will be emailed as soon as order ships on 10-7-20.
Now for the latest Marketplace News: Your Order is Processing as of 10-7-20 @ 9:45 PM EDT. 300 ACC Blackout dies are not in stock under RCBS brand, And there is a "pending" charge on my Cabela's card for the dies.
Is there anything in stock under the "Reloading Banner" besides 'once fired 9 MM brass' caked in mud?
EDIT: Cabela's informed me late this afternoon that my order has shipped -- oh joy! I guess I'll have dies on Monday 10-12-20. Fed Ex doesn't age everything for 5+ days in Atlanta and Augusta hubs like the Post Office does.

Come on over my house, my 300 AAC Hornady 2 die set came last week, I haven't broken the wrapper, yet.
I picked up 400 308 cal bullets at the local LGS, and 500 primed new brass off of GB.
Let me know when you will be here, I will put on a pot of coffee,,,
Seriously, my AAC dies came from Jeff Bezos,,,

MidwayUSA and MidSouthShooters Supply had no stock on hand on 10-6-20 when I looked. Cabela's did. I can't afford Dillon prices, and did not check Brownell's.

Did anyone else take advantage of the RCBS buy green, get green rebate? I bought .40/10mm and .38/.357 dies back in August for a $104 total and $50 rebate. Almost like buy one, get one free. First time I ever did a completely online rebate too. Got confirmation the next day that they received all the uploaded info and my rebate was approved. Still have to wait two months or so for my check to show up, but oh well. I ordered them through Midway with free shipping...no tax, free shipping, and a rebate as icing on the cake. What’s not to like?

How's about a Rock Chucker Supreme shipped for a net (after REBATE) of $106.99? Unfortunately, it being amazon I had to pay sales tax, but...
Now, let's talk about the "New Ammunition Marketplace":
$59.99 for a box of 50 9mm 115gr FMJ in STEEL CASES!?!
$199.99 for a box of 100 380acp 95gr FMJ!?!
They've got to be kidding!

They ain't kidding, and after Nov. 3, those prices may look quite reasonable. That is why I am in good shape on components, and I cast my own bullets.
