Default Question About Dillon Primer Slide

How do you tell the difference between the small primer and large slides?

Hold them side by side. If you don't have both then put a primer in and see if it fits. A small primer in a large slide will be real loose.

The cup and anvil are noticeably different. As mentioned above a large primer will not fit in the small cup!

Exactly! I wrap a piece of masking tape with the letter "S" or "L". Being well organized will help keep you from making mistakes.

Also the tips are different (and different colors). Large primers will not fit in the small tubes and you'll find that small primers do not feed properly in the large tube.
