Fedex man...
...has been very good to me the last couple of weeks. I was able to find these in stock on line:
I'm replacing Bullseye with Titegroup, Unique with W231, and A2400 with IMR 4227 since the ones I'm replacing are nowhere to be found, and I want to keep shooting.
There's tons of reloading data at my fingertips, but if you have any pet loads that you love to shoot with any of these three powders, I'd love to hear about your favorites. (I reload for 9mm, 45 ACP, 32-20, 38 & 44 Sp, 357 & 44 mag)

From what I've seen some powders are available and a few types of bullets, primers not so much.

I was told yesterday that the local indoor range that reloads its range ammo cannot get more powder for approximately 6 months. Their distributors' inventory has all been sold.

Powder was bound to be the next shortage. I bought 20 lbs in Feb before things got sideways. AR Comp (Alliant) was already history at that point. Ended up with Win 748 as a replacement. My other two Alliant powders were in stock but long gone now.
I just wish I had bought another 15K primers. Oh well, I won't really need any until late next year anyway. Maybe things will settle out by then.
Glad you found something that will work.

Nice catch!
What's your address? Asking for a friend!
Just kidding of course....
W231 is thought to be pretty dirty at lower pressures.
HTG is a good powder but not everyone loves it. It took me awhile to find the right loads for 9mm and 45 acp. Just don't give up on it!
38 Special likes it!

There is no powder available where I live. None. Every on-line site I can find that sells smokeless powder is out of Bullseye, Unique, and A2400. It's beyond ridiculous. I feel lucky to have found anything at all. At least now I know I can shoot all my calibers for years to come. Almost certainly longer than this shortage will last. All of this, of course assumes we are able to maintain our 2A rights.

I got so jealous I had to order 4lb of Titegroup.
Powder Valley, in case anyone is wondering. 1 and 4 lb are now sold out. They're still showing 8lb as of a couple hours ago. Which will regret not buying ...

The 3 powders listed in the OP are all available at powder valley right now. Unique, Bullseye and 2400 are like the first things to sell out.

I don’t shoot or load in the volume some do, but I was happy to find two one-pound cans of Red Dot.
Guess I’ll have to settle for quality over quantity.

I'm having no problem finding powder.
The local gun shop and the the big gunshop in the big city both have had what powder I needed the last few times I was in.

Yes, but I ordered at powder valley first. Titegroup and 4227 which they showed as in stock. Then after charging my card, they sent an email saying they really didn't have 4227 and asked if I would like to pick a different powder. They didn't have any good substitute for my substitute for 2400, so I declined and cancelled the entire order. I don't like paying a hazmat fee for one bottle of powder.

231 is closer to Bullseye, than Unique. Universal or 572 is closer in burn rate to Unique.

I have plenty of powder thank goodness. That Titegroup will go a long ways and works well and burns pretty clean for me.

If you haven't used it before in handguns, I think you'll find Red Dot works very well for target level loads in most calibers.

Powder availability has improved, good to see.
I did get a email from Midway about available CCI large pistol primers a couple days ago. Unfortunately for me it 8 hours after they sent it. All gone but a glimmer of hope

I guess it depends on which chart you look at. I have a couple, and they don't match up very well. The pdf file attached here is the one I use most simply because it's color coded and easier to find what I'm looking for. This one shows 231 as pretty darn close to Unique's burn rate. Universal is one I considered and had actually ordered, but had to cancel the order because they couldn't fill part of it.
I think these three will cover things pretty well when I run out of Bullseye, Unique, and 2400. Maybe by the time I run out this shortage will have ended. In the meantime, I'm kind of looking forward to some serious comparison tests. Today I just loaded some 38 special with 3.6 gr of HTG under a 158 gr LSWC.
Then there's the issue of primers... Haven't figured out how to replace those yet

I got the same email from them about 2 weeks ago. The email came in at 6:50 AM and I noticed it at a couple minutes after 7 AM. I logged on as fast as I could, and everything was already gone. I'm pretty sure computerized buying is going on. No other explanation for their stock to disappear that fast.

I stocked up powder big time....
....during the last shortage. And all components. But since then I got into small rifle primers so I had not stocked up on them.

I bought 4227 during the last shortage because it was the only slow powder I could find. In can produce very accurate loads but really needs a full charge, heavy bullet, and heavy roll crimp to burn halfway decently...and this for .44 Mag. I’ve given up using this stuff for .357. Too much unburned material every...including packed under the ejector star ultimately locking of the cylinder. Obviously this is much less of an issue in and 1873 / 1892. If you attempt to down load it like some suggest, make sure you’re wearing safety glasses and long sleeves. The barrel to cylinder gap will act like a sand blast / flow jet nozzle.

Titegroup is a bit fast and easy to go from good to bad in just 0.2 of a grain. Great for the 9mm. A bit fast imo for other calibers mentioned. I use it for bunny fart loads in the 38 and 44 for the wife and kids.
4227 is quite slow and possibly would work with magnum primers and heavy bullets but overall not a good fit and Lots of wasted powder for your calibers.
Works fine with heavy 44 but 8# is an investment and not a trial.
231 is Goldilocks for most of your smaller calibers.
I have no experience with 32-20

I found IMR blue at 3rdgen shooting supply and thought you should be able to run your heavier loads (40,45,44) but there is no load data for 44mag on Hodgons website. There are loads between IMR Red and 4227 , but no Blue. Perplexing as I have loaded Blue dot for years with 44. Not to have loads for 44 mag is a huge disadvantage to IMR.
You could extrapolate and experiment on a load, but I would never do it on a 29, maybe a redhawk.
Not sure if life insurance or disability would cover you though
