Shout Out For RimRock Bullets!
I've ordered a lot of stuff from different vendors and usually get what I order, but the condition I receive it in varies greatly.
I recently received an order from the folks at RimRock in Montana.
It consisted of 800 158gr cast 38/357, 400 148gr cast 9mm/38 Super bullets and 300 Armscorp .357 Magnum brass.
I don't know who packaged the stuff for its cross country trip, whomever it was deserves a raise!
I have never received an order from any company that was packaged so well. Everything was intact, sealed and just as it was when placed in the box.
The shipping was free with a $120 order.
Frank is the name of the person I corresponded with on the order. Very helpful, customer oriented person.
I haven't tried their bullets yet, but if they're near as good as their shipping and customer service they have earned my repeat business!

Good to hear. I placed an order a couple weeks ago and am waiting for my lead to arrive. I have not heard a negative review for them yet.

I've been shooting them for years now. Top-notch all the way around, from selection, shipping, and shooting. I'd name my favorite, but they all are!

I was recently shocked by an order I received from Acme Bullets for 1,000 158gr SWC...check out the plastic strapped wood crate and pack of free targets...

My experience with them mirrors yours.
I ordered 500 each .32 LRN and LWC and 1 pound each of a couple of other bullets. All packed very well and arrived in perfect condition.
A second shout-out for Frank too - excellent customer service.

I also received 2 orders from Acme recently. Fast shipping and outstanding packaging and bullets look great. Cool boxes as a bonus. I wouldn't hesitate to order from them again once my bullet budget is built back up again.

I know all these vendors are swamped with orders.
When this kind of service is still being delivered I believe they deserve some recognition.

I agree. I didn't talk to anybody at Acme but only because I didn't need too. They shipped my order the day after I placed it online and I had them in hand three days later.
The good news is I'm seeing at least some in-stock at most every vendor I look at. Maybe not exactly what you want, but something at least.
Some seem to offer their entire line with longer lead times, others are limiting their offerings and shipping faster. But regardless it seems like they are coming back faster than the last shortage.
I see some things at Rim Rock I'd like to try. .41 wadcutters!

God, Gold, and Lead
Oregon Trail Cast Bullets and Rim Rock are owned by the same
people now.
Earlier this year I ordered 44cal, ordering fast and easy, shipped
when they said, and received in perfect condition.
Then later in the Fall I ordered 45cal, ordering fast and easy,
shipped when they said, and received in perfect condition
And all at reasonable prices.
O.T. and R.R. are Simply the best.

+1 on Rimrock . Other commercial casters of note include Matt's Bullets , Montana Bullet Works & Maplewood Bullets . I cast myself but if I don't have a mould or want to try something I'll buy from one of them . If it works then I'll buy more equipment .

My go to place is Montana Bullet Works. They offer the combination of bullet diameter, hardness and design that best suit my needs in various pistol calibers. The bullets come packed standing up side by side. Kind of reminds me of little soldiers going off to war. Some other suppliers are much less expensive, but it's really apples and oranges. All are good suppliers of fine products.

Yesterday, I got my 41 mag 210gr in about 2 weeks.
I have ordered from them before and always been happy.
One issue is that they are sized .4085 and up to .4095.
I was hoping for .410 or larger.
I'll call Monday and see if these are correct for them.
Rim Rock is from Polson, Montana; a little town on the southern end of the incredibly beautiful Flathead Lake. I will support them big time if I get these to shoot well.

Shout outs for cast bullet suppliers?
I made an order for 90 pounds of bullets from Brazo’s out of Texas on December 8th. They had two USPS Priority tracking numbers for me... 23 hours after my click to purchase.
The first box was a week behind the USPS expected date and the other was 3 weeks late. These two boxes were smack dab in the middle of the December postal mayhem. I wasn’t concerned about when they arrived, I just didn’t want them to get lost or destroyed.
The double box and thick plastic bagging of all the bullets got them to me in perfect condition. I’m still impressed by the 23 hour turn around for the product.
These are getting loaded soon!

Everytime I check Brazos seems to be pretty well stocked.

I live just outside the same town { Polson, Mt. } where Rim Rock Bullets is located on the south end of Flathead Lake. They have a walk in store and sell reloading supply's as well as used guns, and of course their bullets . I have never walked into the store and not been able to get what I was looking for in the way of bullets . Frank Sr., and Frankie are usually busy in some fashion with the business, but always have time to talk to a walk in customer. I lived in Arizona for 34 years, and mail ordered from them for many years. When I moved to western Montana 5+ years ago, getting bullets is now much quicker and easier . I like their bullets, their prices, the convenience and family type atmosphere and will continue to be a loyal customer and friend...good people !
Be patient, they are, and have been swamped, like everyone else.
PS : Heading down there today for .45 and .41 bullets , lol !
