So that’s how to do it!
I just got my new order of “as cast” boolits from a new vendor and he has a great way of packing them. He centers the boxes with multiple squares and rectangles of cardboard. First time I’ve gotten a shipment that wasn’t spilt open or hadn’t shifted all to one side. I’ll have to remember this next time I ship something really heavy and awkward.

I recently returned a scope for repair.
I packed it with similar thoroughness and care.
A gorilla wouldn't have been able to damage it in transit!
They called to inform me it would be replaced...
...And that it took longer to open my package than to make the decision to replace the scope

Wow! I don't think I have ever seen anything packed that well for shipping.

The other side of the coin
Congrats OP.........great vendor...good quality control..obviously cares about the customer AND is aware of shipping and handling gorillas!
In contrast.....a large ammo vendor shipped my son an order for 300 rounds of 9mm several moons ago...the UPS guy is a local and said the flimsy lightweight cardboard box had arrived at break bulk station wet but sealed with "factory security tape" so they didn't open.
Once opened what you see is what my son saw...no internal separators, torn and wet factory boxes, rounds everywhere. He hand dried each round and I think they'll be fine...just a big disappointment, and that was months ago...son sent an e-mail and still no answer.
Can't name the vendor here.
Bottom line? Some vendors care about customer satisfaction and some don't.

I love it when I pick up a box.....
..of bullets with the weight on the near side to me and the bullets slide to the other side of the box. Makes it hard to find the handle.

Nice to see. Missouri bullet does a similar excellent job of packing their bullets. It's refreshing to see customer service and attention to detail.

I've received too many shipments even well packaged ones in similar condition. A lot can happen to a package between the shipper and buyer.
That's another reason I don't mind spending a bit more to buy from brick & mortar locals when possible.
As for great packaging, Rim Rock does it right!

It’s Moyers Cast Bullets out of Madisonburg, Pa. I think he’s one of a few that will sell “as cast” bullets and give a price break when he doesn’t have to size and lube them. I size and powder coat them myself.
Moyer's Cast Bullets Handgun Bullets, cast lead handgun bullets
