Found some powder and primers at LGS today...
I stopped in at a small local shop today. One that I don't frequent often. I've bought a few odds and ends there in the past, but no major purchases. I've been on the hunt for powder and primers and got lucky today, but it wasn't cheap. I bought eleven boxes of primers, various kinds, for $13.00/hundred. I also bought two pistol powders that I've never used before. Vihta Vuori N320 and Winchester Autocomp. After doing a little research, they both seem like fairly versatile powders that should handle a lot of the cartridges that I want to reload. Between the primers and powder, and 8% sales tax, it was $245.16 out the door. I've got lots of brass and projectiles so I'm set there. I plan on building a new, sturdier, reloading bench. The old one has seen better days. I guess that I paid "pandemic prices" today but I was just happy to find what I needed.

Congratulations!
Not cheap, but good prices in this market.

Another bote of confidence for VV powders. A fellow on GB who I'd bought from many times, for a long time, always sold VV powders for $25 lb and I bought alot of 340 and 530 from him, the pandemic hit and he got wiped out and then suffered a warehouse fire. Sure miss him.
Never got any 320 but its probably a fine powder too.

320 is one of my favorite powders, it's expensive but works very well. Consistent, clean burning and I got excellent accuracy in my 45 and 40 IPSC pistols way back when.

I paid $52.95 plus 8% sales tax for the pound of 320. Winchester Autocomp, bought at the same time, was $32.95.

I used to use VN340 quite often until the price got too rich for my blood. Always liked it how it performed however...

More good news! A friend gave me an unopened pound of Bullseye and a partial can of Unique. The only thing holding me back is I want to build a new reloading bench before I get going.
