Lee speed die
Does anyone use,or have experience with the lee speed dies? This was a single die for use with single stage press that incorporated all the parts so you never had to change the die body only internal parts I'm thinking of trying one with a lee hand press or one of RCBS "W" presses

Lee Precision, Inc. - Speed Dies
Speed Dies were discontinued in 2007 following the growing popularity of separated die sets.
The Speed Die did everything a 3-Die Set does by combining some steps. Speed Dies included a removable carbide-sizing ring, while the Decapping Mandrel also expanded the case mouth. When seating a bullet, it would apply a modified taper or roll crimp. The Speed Dies could only be used for jacketed bullets, can not be used for cast bullets. Speed Dies were not interchangeable.

This sounds like another one of those ideas that “looked good on paper.” I remember a loading die marketed by Herters about 40-50 years ago that was supposed to do everything. It was about 9 inches tall and I never could imagine how it could work. Sometimes thinking outside the box leads to good ideas, other times it just leaves you...

I bought a speed die in .357 to see if a gas-checked cast bullet would work. Long story short, not very well.
The design will not permit enough belling.
OTOH, if I ever glom onto any jacketed bullets, it should work. You will need a way to prime the cases.
