Default Mid-Way has the cheapest Lee press in stock

I own a coupla RCBS Junior presses that are in storage with Guns and ammo from a former life but all I have used to load Pistol Ammo for over ten years has been this little press. Anyone who is having trouble getting handgun ammo should buy one of these little presses and look for a set of dies and a priming tool. At .70 to 1 dollar a round It wouldn't take long to break even on a coupla hundred .38spls or .45 ACPs. I think I gave $35.00 for mine 12 or so yrs ago and they are $54.99 with free shipping. Think about it, seriously...........

The biggest reason Midway has them in stock is their pricing is 20-25% higher than other sites.

Elsewhere that press still sells for around $40.

Unless it's a must have situation Midway has priced themself off my radar.

It's impossible for anybody to compete with a Lee Master Distributor on price. There's at least two of those distributors that I know of (FS Reloading and Titan).

Of course the Master Distributors are out of stock - no backorder so at the moment there is no competition. Midway seems to have almost all of the Lee presses in stock. Midway also shows it as Free Shipping so once you take that into consideration the $12 difference between Midway and FS Reloading is gone.

I have one of those little Lee Reloader presses and it makes just as good ammo as anything. I don't use it often because I also have a Challenger and a Dillon. I'm actually using the little thing right now as I had to setup a small temporary light weight bench and it's perfect for that.

Then again, for $99 you can have a Challenger......just sayin'

Most places I find them the price runs $42-43ish, but they are all out of stock. So with free shipping, easily a $10-15 value, the $55 price is fair enough.
