Xtreme bullets prices coming down
Out of curiosity, I checked the Xtreme bullets website for current pricing. The 9mm 115 gr are down to $42.75; the 124 gr. $44.84-per 500 round box.
Pre-covid, the 115 gr. we're $36 and 124 gr. we're slightly more. My last order before the panic really set in was $42/box 500 (115 gr.). After that prices were too crazy to even consider.
Just passing this info to others who have been waiting for prices to come down.

I get most of my pistol bullets from Rocky Mtn Reloading.
They kept prices in check, but at one point, their most popular bullets had a 6 month backorder. They did get caught up. I ordered 1000 9mm bullets last month and had them in hand less than a week after I ordered.

I'm just glad to see prices coming back down. I haven't purchased any reloading components since March 2020. As with everyone else here, I'm still waiting for primers to reappear. Not much sense to buy up bullets in quantity until primers make a come back. But there may be hope that prices may get back to near normal in the future.

Since I have a good supply of primers and powder, I’m interested in lead bullet prices as I don’t cast for the 9mm (yet). They have become my “limiting factor”.

Once plated bullet prices went crazy, I started buying lead bullets. I made several purchases from Falcon Bullet Co. until they closed up shop. By that time, most other bullet companies had several weeks/months of backlog. So, now that plated bullet prices are coming back down and getting close to pre-covid prices; I will again start buying plated bullets. I prefer plated because they load/shoot cleaner. But I will be shooting my lead bullets as I go along.
