I can’t get there site to open.
I believe the owner passed so maybe the company went with him.

They haven't been shipping product and stole the money of many folks who had placed orders that hadn't shipped yet.

Bob passed suddenly. I’m not sure if anyone has the ability or plans to continue operations. I’m positive that stealing money was not part of anyones plan. Edited to add that after many years of business with thousands of satisfied customers all around the country the guy passes away and is labeled a thief. I think that is shameful.

Its wrong to label someone a thief especially when he is no longed alive. Bob and I had our differences at times but he was never disrespectful and in no way a thief.

From what I hear a man named John Mullady was supposed to take over the day to day operations but suddenly shut the WEB site down and the phone number. I have no first hand information this is correct but it is what I have heard.

No one should be called a thief without proof so we will not do that again here.

Didn't call Bob a thief, he seemed quite nice when I placed the order. But whoever charged my card for hundreds of dollars weeks after his death sure seems like one. Several phone calls went unanswered, emails not returned, letter not responded to, and the credit card refund has been challenging since I waited for too long hoping it was just taking them a while to pick up the pieces.
I'm also not the only one as there are others on the forum who got burned as well.

There are two MasterCast Bullet companies. The one you list in your post in PA. Their URL is Mastercast.NET

Mastercast Bullet Company,Inc.
292 Anderson Road
Enon Valley, PA 16120-9301

Then there is MasterCast.com. I don't remember where they are based but I do know both owners happen to have the same first name, Mike.

I have used Penn bullets and they have always been good, the Penn 200gr swc shoot amazingly well in my 1917 revolver so I will keep what I have left for the old gun. Hate to see a good business go away but that seems to be the way a lot of one man business go.

Buying with a CC is wise and you should recover your funds.

Over the years dealing with Robert, we talked about his accordion playing uncle and Robert's chops on the squeezebox as well.
Told him not long ago, that we'll do a duet with me on flute/picc next time I visit family in Penn.

I got burned as well. John Mullady called me and said my order was ready to ship. He said he was trying to straighten out Bob's credit card system and asked that I send the payment via Paypal F&F. Since I had been dealing with Bob for decades, I did and got screwed.

This is a bummer! I just learned about this because the URL I had didn't work and google search showed this thread right away.

I really loved his selection of options, his service and the fact that he was in PA.

Has anyone been able to find out any more information? Has anyone gotten a delivery?

If not, I'm wondering if anyone has reported their missing funds to the authorities? It's possible the Attorney General of PA might be willing to get to the bottom of this.

I just came across this thread when looking for replacement bullets. Does anyone have an alternative to 454 bullets?

Sad news about Bob, spoke to him last year regarding some load data for the 454.

After some months my credit card company issued me a refund. I've no idea if they got their money back, but I was happy to get mine!

A buddy of mine said that he ordered a couple of hundred dollars worth of Penn bullets. He said when he heard that the owner had died, he decided not to pursue a refund, so as not to add to the problems of the surviving family members. I thought that was an extreme gesture of charity.

I sent a guy in Wisconsin an 1892 Winchester for barrel work and some other work, and learned he had cancer and passed away. Never heard anymore and never got the gun back.
I miss the gun, but hold no one responsible for not getting it returned to me.

A bought some 454 Penn bullets for my 25-5 a while back and he sent me 451 by mistake. Actually, they work fine in my 1911. Nevertheless, Penn sent me 454's at no charge and didn't want the 451's back. Sorry to hear they are gone.

Mastercast is a delight to deal with and their product is excellent. My new goto.

The family may well have turned over the business to another party, so it might have not had any impact one way or another, but their money and their choice.
