I caved and ordered some powder
I gave up waiting for powder to make it to the shelves near me and ordered 4 lbs, two lil gun and two h110 from Midway. After tax, shipping an hazmat it came to over $180. Now I'm sitting here waiting on the UPS driver, he normally comes by around 6 pm.

Good move in my opinion. Everyone waiting for prices to come down has a long wait. At least you will be shooting!
In the grand scheme of things, especially these days, 180 bucks is nothing.

The more powder in the order, the more pounds among which to split the shipping and hazmat.
A few years ago I would put in orders at Powder Valley that would be 45-48 pounds total.

With no powder available locally, and hearing on this forum that HP-38 could be bought directly from the manufacturer, and checking to see that it was really good for all my handgun calibers, I bought a bunch of pounds for $37 each.

At the rate we're going, in a few months that $180 might not even fill your gas tank!

Midway has a limit of two, I out of lil gun for the 12.7 x 42's that's the only reason I caved. I didn't need the h110 but I figured what the heck.

If you know about Zip and Enforcer,
it might be time to try a new brand of powder, if it is just for target shooting.
Thank you for that post.

Smart move. If you're going to use the powder and enjoy shooting, it's only a few more dollars in furtherance of a worthwhile endeavor.

Although I am not currently in need of components, I pick up a little here and there when I find em at what I think are reasonable prices. For instance, I picked up a total of 6 sleeves of Federal LPP Match at the SW in Cedar City, UT, @ $6.50 each - 4 sleeves one day, two the next. It all adds up.

If you need it, get when you can. I missed a chance at some IMR4198. Waited one hour too long. Hopefully there’ll be some more……..

A couple of places online have either HP38 or W231 in stock. I keep putting it in my cart, looking at the total, and removing it.
I'm down to my last 2 pounds. I need to just buy it.
Primers can be found locally at $10 - $12 a sleeve (limit 2).
Luckily, I was driving past a Sportsman's Warehouse on a road trip an picked up 4 sleeves for $5 each.

I just ordered 8 lbs of 231 from Powder Valley. I was far from out but dropping below my comfort stock level. I learned that lesson long ago. I use a lot of it so I keep it on hand
