Cheers to Dillon
Dillon has had some major telephone and computer glitches. My Dillon 550 upper arm link pins (one solid and one hollow) began "walking out" while I was reloading. I contacted Dillon and they said to send it in. BTW when you send in a press, they want you to remove all the small parts, i.e. locator buttons and toolhead pins, as well as, the powder measure cap. They also want you to remove the handle and toolhead/ dies. Due to their problems, I waited about 3 weeks to get the "go ahead" and send in the press for repair. It was back in my hands in 8 days. They not only fixed the problem, they replaced the old powder measure and priming system, as well as, the link arms. I did have to pay for shipping to them which nowadays ain't cheap, and I had to manufacture a shipping box out of heavy duty cardboard, but everything that Dillon did was top notch! They also sent me a newer model spent primer cup after I noticed that the old one wouldn't work. The old link arms had a screw to hang the spent primer cup. The new arms have a molded in fixture and the old spent primer cup wouldn't work. After notifying them of this, they had a new spent primer cup to me in a couple of days...no charge, of course! It is more substantial than the old one, too! With the passing of Mike, I wondered how well the company would run. No worries! They are still #1 in customer service!

The indexing ring broke on my 650 a while back. Call Dillon CS, told them what I needed - index ring, return spring (since it disappeared when the index ring snapped), and a few other small bites and pieces, not related to the index ring. They told me up front that they were short handed and my order would take a bit. No worries since I wasn’t loading anyway. Well almost three weeks later my order showed up and included the press alignment tool. Press is up and running again. Dillon is one trusted and respected company. Thumbs up.

Years ago, I bought a used Dillon 450 {IIRC} and took it into their retail shop in front of the factory. Former shop manager eyed it good, taking mental notes. He went into the back and came out with a handful of small parts, and began to replace/install them. "There you are..Good to go!". Not a DIME requested.......

Dillion is the absolute best imho! Recently I contacted them to service a RL 450 that I had lent out! Missing parts, pretty roaches for sure.
Got the return authorization AND a prepaid shipping label. Two weeks from the day I shipped it it was back on my bench. Updated primer feed and powder measure, cleaned and completely refurbished. Runs good as new.
Dillon is the best!
Regards, Rick Gibbs
