I walked into 3 of our local gun shops and they all had primers. Small pistol were going at 40.00 per K.

I did not buy any due to cost and I already have 4K, but nice to see that they were hitting the stores. One of the store owners said he was hardly making any money on them..I believe him, he is one of the most honest shops around.

I'll shoot 22's before I pay more than $30 per M for primers! This price gouging would stop if people refused to be taken to the cleaners.

I recently called a store in NE Alabama, and he said he had a couple of hundred LP and SP primers he could sell at a time. I didn't ask the price, because it just wasn't worth the drive.

Stopped at the Cabelas north of Milwaukee today and they actually had powder on the shelves. Got a couple of pounds of H335 which had been scarce for 3 months in these parts. Primers still non-existent though.

A shop here has some primers, large and small pistol and also some small rifle, or at least they did yesterday. No LR however. Prices are around $30 per K. I'm seeing a gradual 'thaw' in availability of both ammo and components, hope that it continues.
