I want a seperate setup for decapping with a single stage press. Can I use RCBS shell holders and universal decapping die with a Lee C press. I apologise if this is a stupid question but I am just getting started.

Shell holders are pretty much universal now, even though the numbering systems are different. That wasn't the case 40 years ago, with several being proprietary for their particular presses.

RCBS shell holders should do fine on a Lee.
