I have a Lyman 1200 tumbler and I usually put between 3-4 capfulls into the media while it's running. Let it run for 10 minutes afterwards to mix well.

DO NOT put the polish in while the cases are in there, it will form clods that stick in the bottom of the case making it harder to remove and useless for helping to clean the other cases.

I normally need to run the tumbler with dirty range brass at least 5 hours, many times longer, like 7 hours to really get absolutely every speck of debris off of every case. But when it's all off, the Nu-Finish really makes the cases look like brand new, very shiny.

I also add some mineral spirits (2-3 oz.) in with it and it really cleans the brass up a lot faster.

Just a couple of squirts. i once tried mineral spirits and got the darndest mess I have ever had. It mixed with the polish and turned into blue goo. It took gasoline to get it off the cases and inside of the tumbler.

1 cap full. I started using this recently with plastic blasting media (the kind often used by auto body shops) and it works great.
