I've been through one box. They have been the most accurate bullets I've loaded. Go to Hornady's site to get their data for the slug. I'm not the best shot in the world, but yesterday, I got 5 shots in 5" at 100 yards. I'll have to add that there was one shot I don't know where it hit. That was using a max charge of 2400. I figured that would take about any game I'll ever come across.

FWIW, I wear ear pluggs AND muffs while shooting.

My only experience with them is in the factory loads. I found them to be accurate and pleasant to shoot, altho I would never recommend them as a hunting bullet for anything other than varmints. My experience with then on deer proved them to be too explosive for reliable penetration on large game. I prefer the 300grn XTP-mags, or 300grn Gold Dots.

I was looking at reloading them at about 1900 so they would get more penetration and a little less expansion. The deer here in TN are not to big. I will try and get a box to try.
