Pretty bad-300 primers made my day.
I have been working in "Da U.P." for a week, and had the day off so I went for a ride this morning. I stopped in a small sporting goods store and asked if they had any primers, to which the guy just started laughing. On my way out he asked what I was looking for and when I told him large pistol primers he said wait a minute, dug around, and came up with 500. Said I could have 300 but he needed to keep 200 for his boss. Being that I have been looking for them for 4 months, I felt like I hit the lotto. Guess I need to get a life.

$5/100. (On the other hand, no shipping or hazmat fees :-)

Things seem to finally be loosening up down here in the lower-Lower. A local shop has some Winchester Large Pistol Primers in large quantity. The price is steep at $40/1000, but if you need some, you pay. Same story with Large Rifle Primers. Loads of ammunition too, but tack $10 or $15 on to what the price should be.
Still pretty scanty for small primers, rifle or pistol.

Kind of strange where I live. The smaller town sport stores have plenty of primers but larger towns have not had any in a long time. Found 25k small pistol and 12 k large pistol in a town of 930 population. Bought 1k each at 34.00 per k.

Be of stout heart guy, primers are showing up here in central pa, maybe soon in your area. Can be had for $29.00 per thousand, CCI and Winchesters mostly, seven bucks higher than when this mess started but available.
