Welcome to the Forum. You have a 38 Single Action, Second Model, or Model No. 2. I have never liked the Model 2 designation as it is often confused with its predecessor Model 2 tip-up 32 rimfire.
These revolvers were manufactured from 1877 to 1891 and were chambered in 38 S&W. There were over 100,000 made. It looks like you have ivory stocks and, if so, they are worth far more than your revolver. In poor condition, these sell for $150 to $200 with standard hard rubber stocks, but I bet you could get $300 or more for those ivories if in good condition. I can't tell for sure the condition of your revolver.
