After some sightershots, I found out, that this single-shot is more than accurate. The Olympic-Chamber is real tight and the trigger is just "wow". Serial-# is 10541. Hey, don't blame me. The Swiss "gun-buying-permission" is good for three guns.
I paid CHF 850.-- this is right now US$ 850.--. Last November, I would have to pay only US$ 710.-- The US-Dollar is so low right now in relation to the Swiss Franc.

Maybe i paid to much, compared to the originalprice. This are profitrates a la Madoff.:D :D

Ammo was Eley Universal, distance was 25 meters, free standing postition. I hold the pistol in both hands.

Swissman, you're an evil person. No comments about single shots for weeks or maybe months, and as soon as I post about my just-acquired, renickeled 3rd model, you trump me with this. Yours looks so nice it hurts.

Congrats!

I feel myself not soo good..

Tom K, please believe me that I didn't see your post. It was not my goal to trump you. I came home yesterday evening. The postman leave me a message that I must pick up a package at the post-office.
I did it, packed two of my shooting-buddys in the car and headed to the range. Came back very late but proud about, how the newest old gun shoots, took some pics and load it up to the forum.

Like you, I found a long time no new threads about single-shots. I hope you have fun with your gun too. Let us know how it shoots. Eley Universal is the fodder that my gun likes most.

I'm envious. Yours is beautiful. Mind is real rough. Think was built from parts, as barrel and frame don't match. Irregardless, mine shots pretty good also. Mine has a very light trigger, and several failures to fire. I presently have a shim between the spring and strain screw. I think someone shortened it or has installed an incorrect one. Tom K informed me his measures .785", and I'm going to check mine. May I ask what yours measures?

No problem Swissman, that was just my envy talking. I'm happy for you - it's a beautiful gun.

On the other hand, my Mrs. K has no expectation whatsoever that this will be my "last" one. :D

Please tell Swisswife I have two things to say: Ha - ha!

(That's a great looking single shot you have and I don't blame you for buying it. ;) )

Wow! I am really jealous. Beautiful single shot Swissman, good shooting too. I need to get off my butt and go shoot my TOZ 35 and Morini CM80 (Strangest pistol on God's Green Earth!)

Best,

K38

I don't post much here but after seeing that I have to say that is one fine looking firearm. I would have paid that much for it.

Like K38, I have a TOZ and a Morini- both great examples of the rule that a gun doen't have to be pretty to shoot well. Then there's the Browning Medalist, a beautiful gun that never had a great reputation as a shooter. I don't ask for much, just give me the beauty that puts them all in the ten ring.
