Default Nicest & Earliest acquisition...........

The first is a Model 2 Old Army, 5 inch, blue. The nicest 5 inch I have ever seen. The second is a Model One-and-a-Half 1st Issue. Not a museum piece, but the earliest serial number I have seen. Just a couple of "had to haves"

Enjoy!

So That's what they're supposed to look like! Beautiful examples.

Mike, Yes, that Model 2 would have to be in the " had to have " catagory! Beautiful! Who made the casing? Or is it a stock inventory item? Once in awhile a gun like this shows up and it's been in a time capsule environment for 130+ years that has kept the bluing & case hardening pristine. Congrats! Ed #15

Mike,
I love to see the old with condition!!! I can see why they were a MUST HAVE!!!
The case looks like this one that I did own.... but someone else had to have it! The condition is not even close to the beauty you have!
