Default Safety Hammerless .38 Third Model

All,

I picked up a little beauty a while back. Gun is in great functioning order with good cylinder lock up and strong double action pull. Firing pin punches my thumb with enough authority to sting when function testing the action. Pretty sure the gun must either be in pristine condition or have been very nicely refinished. Bore and chambers look great!

I picked her up for $240. Is that a pretty good price for this lovely old gun?

I picked up some Remington ammo for it and am chomping at the bit to shoot her in a week or two.

Gun has clearly been refinished, but will make a great shooter.

Thanks for the feedback. I figured it had been due to the blued trigger rather than CC.

Going to enjoy taking a step back in time and shooting her.

If she proves reliable, I can see tucking her in a pocket every now and then for walking the dog or running down to the store.

Sure has a nice feel to it in hand.
