Default Please confirm what I have and it's worth

I'm more of a WW2 surplus collector and not sure on what I have. I believe I have a model No. 1 1/2 in .32 rimfire with a 3 1/2" tip up barrel. The action works and the cylinder turns freely when cocked. It has a 4 digit serial that I can't make out for sure.

TIA
Jay

You're correct: you have a Model 1-1/2 1st Issue. I had a 3-digit serial number which shipped summer of 1865, so yours is no doubt also from 1865. Mine was in about the same condition as yours, though it had a wobbly barrel hinge. Otherwise it operated correctly. I sold it earlier this year for $300.

Yes, it' a Mod. 1 1/2 1st Issue. I can tell you that S/N 13288 Shipped Jan. 1866, so yours would predate that. This one is from all evidence, unfired. Just faded bluing to patina.

Thanks all for the input and the welcome. Only about $300.00 in value huh? Now I know why the ones I have been watching on Gunbroker are not selling.

Though I have purchased firearms on Gun Broker many of the prices are unrealistic and can't be used to value a weapon. Auctions are like horsetrading - two parties get what they want based on want they want to get.
