Default Japanese-Marked S&W No. 2

Here are some photos of another Japanese-marked S&W No. 2 Army revolver. The kanji on the left-hand side of the barrel "四五番山形縣" translates "No. 459 - Yamagata Prefecture" translates." The grip brand "山形縣" reads "Yamagata Prefecture."

A factory letter is in the works and will be posted when received.

Default Number two Army

Nice gun.. I would appreciate if you would fill out survey on the model 2 army. The data base has at present 52 Japanese number twos still around. I am sure Frank Allen would appreciate info on this one

Hi Ron,

I'd be happy to share with you. Frank and I correspond regularly, so he already has the information. Thanks!
