Default Sources for Antique Parts

Can we start a list of sources for antique S&W parts? I am trying to find a trigger for a First Model .38 SA Baby Russian or a 2nd Model .38 SA and havent had an luck yet. If you guys know of a good source of parts, please post a link. Ive already checked with Dave at Old West. Thanks!

S&W PARTS and SERVICES VENDORS .txt :
1. Go to "Downloads" area from the header bar. select main.
2. Select "Category Tree.
3. Select SWCA Lists.
4. Select SWCA Parts & Service Vendors.
5. Select Download.

The list has been there for some time, and I believe a couple of the vendors are no longer in business. If anyone has new sources it would be great to add to this list. Not sure how to add, but send the information to Lee or a Moderator should get it done.

There are lots of hit-n-miss sites, but Ia good place to start is gunpartscorp.com and ebay. Post in the Wanted to Buy section here.

Thumbs up sources of antique parts

Gun Parts are a big source of parts. At the present time, they are having a sale on packages of assorted springs. Most of the time, you will be able to use one of the springs or modify one to fit the damaged part. I retain a large inventory of springs for future use or modifications. Also, Jack First is another source of parts.

You can add me to the list if you like.

I purchased a large group of 1860's and up to possibly the 1930's. I still have not sorted the group yet.

I am also very slow to look through the parts for peoples needs or I spend the time to locate the part and the one looking says never mind.

PM me if you wish.

Same here. I keep a nice stock of antique parts for my own needs and close others (if needed). I've spent a small fortune in antique parts, some on sheer speculation (like a NOS Revolving Rifle hammer) and many others.

The stuff I need the most of i cannot fine enough of, it seems.

I have to have my actions perfect. A ground hammer (filed at the sear engagement) that had been somewhat repaired to make it function is just not acceptable.
