I need some enlightenment on Lemon Squeezers
I have this revolver pictured(actually 2). It has a broken mainspring. I believe it is a Model 40, Lemon Squeezer, but I actually have no clue. I need a mainspring for it and any information on them. I called Wolff and they had me order a Stock # 29101, for the K, L and N frames, but it is too long.
#1 serial is 357XX
#2 serial is 2488XX

Thanks for any help you can give me.

Wrong section - you should post this under Antiques. Squeezers are not hand ejectors.

Welcome to the Forum.
That is not a M40. The M40 is a J-Frame concealed hammer .38 Special that was made from1952-1974, and re-introduced recently in the Classic line. Those appear to be .38 Safety Hammerless revolvers. The 35,7XX dates to 1889 or 1890. The 248,8XX to 1939 or 1940.
Keep in mind these are chambered for the .38 S&W Cartridge, not the .38 Special.

You may try Numrich, Jack First or Poppert's for the part. It is also possible a gunsmith could shorten a longer flat spring to fit, if it is of the correct width.

They are chambered or 38 S&W. These are family guns and I was tasked with getting the one fixed.
Who do I need to talk to about getting this moved to the right forum?
I am weak on revolvers, especially old revolvers.
Thanks for the help!!!
