Default What parts of new SW will work in Victory 38 Model

Would anyone know what parts from the newer Revolvers will interchange with the Victory 38. Just managed to pick up a basket case and need a few parts. I understand this is prelude to the M & P Model 10. Will things like the Cylinder exchange. Any help appreciated

Well, I'll take a stab at it. A lot of parts will work, BUT WILL NEED TO BE CUSTOM FITTED. There were tolerance changes, plus the ongoing change of manufacturing methods. It is in your best interest to try and obtain Victory vintage parts.

There were some lockwork design differences between the V-models and more recently manufactured K-frame revolvers, so some parts may not be completely interchangeable. It would be best to attempt locating of actual WWII or earlier parts if needed.
