38 Safety Hammerless Restoration by OSR
A 1922 revolver I picked up for $210 originally wearing one S&W broken rubber grip and one H&R grip, which I replaced with the wooden ones shown:

Great restoration job, but I liked the "before" gun best.

Here is a pic of the restoration 1922 gun (Below) and a 1926 unfired, original finish weapon owned by a Detroit bank in pristine condition save a spot where it appears to have slid in a drawer or some such thing (Above):
Restoration over $100 to the questioner.
