My guess it yes, depending on what ammunition you were shooting. These revolvers were made to be carried and used at close range for self-defense, and I find them not very accurate at 50 feet. I know some will reply they have one that shoots a single hole at 50 yards, but the shorter the barrel, the less accurate these are.
I would check the gap between the barrel and cylinder. Often times this gap will open up and you will see increased blow-back. This is not a big deal, but negatively affects the already questionable accuracy. I am not sure what the factory gap was, but one I have that is pretty well worn measures .016" and there is a small amount of end shake. Shoots fine.
There is a chance that someone has honed the cylinder. Check to make sure you can see a shoulder about half way into the cylinder chambers. If the front of your cylinder mics .360", it is in spec.
