Default Baby Russian's price

Hello everyone! I was asked to buy a smith & wesson "baby russian" in .38 caliber in excellent condition; The gun is nickel-plated.
I wanted to know what the price range of this weapon...I have asked for * 1,300, but I would not be cheated
Thank you all!

In the US, it would have to be a 99% original condition gun, with a box, to be at that price. However it may be a very hard gun to find where you are and the market might support that asking price. Can you post some pictures? Ed.

Be very careful Andrea. There are many potential pitfalls and 1300E/1500+USD is a lot of money.

That's not a "Baby Russian" (i.e. 1st Model 38 SA)
It's a 2nd Model and should be nowhere near worth the price you posted.

To be perfectly clear, only the 1st model, with long ejector lug under barrel is considered a Baby Russian and worth the big bucks. The picture you gave is the 2nd model, short underlug and worth about 1/3 that of the Baby Russian. Not in the same money league at all.
