Default Help me ID this revolver

The revolver does not function and I would like to put it back into working condition, even though ammo may no longer be available.

It is a top break with auto shell ejector
it has stain screw on front of grip.

has missing plate on left side
springs may be broken or missing
hand does not advance cylinder rotation.
Serial is : 147685
Barrel ID : .305"
Cylinder ID: .34"
Barrel length: 3.0"
Cylinder length: .925"

Are parts available.?
Is schematic on line ?

Here are the photos:

any info would help

I have seen gun before. When I had my shops, seniors would often come in and ask me how to make guns inoperable because of children in the house. Most of the time I offered to buy the gun but sometimes that didnt work. So, I just told them how to do it. I had a box of side plates and springs on the work bench and boxes of old ammo. You have a parts guns. Just use as a paper weight.

Welcome (almost 7 years from registering!)

It's a .32 Double Action, from about the mid-1890s. Unless this has some type of family or historical connection, it would be best not to try to reassemble this one into a functioning gun. A comparable, working example of this one would be in the $200-250 range.

As others have commented getting that one up and running is going to exceed its value. I have put such guns in a few shadowbox frames with a few appropriate items to the period.

I want to thank all that gave me info on my question. A VERY SPECIAL THANKS to Rusty Britches who gave me a lead to a book,
The Gun Digest Book of Firearms Assembly/Disassembly Part II - Revolvers
that had all the info needed.
Now all I need is to find some reasonably priced parts ( if that is even possible.)

Finding a donor parts gun would probably be the most direct route; even with that, expect some parts fitting and other potential snags. Good luck with the project.

Professor, honestly, you will spend more fixing this than you would spend to buy a decent working piece...sell yours for parts and you will be dollars ahead ...unless this was owned by your great grand dad who shot Dillinger...

PM sent.
Your .32 DA seems to be in need of a sideplate and a mainspring. At least those two parts seems to be missing. Also, the hand seems to be upside down.
