Default Early S&W's Help identifying

Hello all! First I want to say that I'm new around here, and want to say thanks for any help you provide. My grandfather has a rather large gun collection I am going through as he is getting up there in age, and we're trying to determine what to do with some of it.

He has these two early S&W pistols for a long time and we would like to determine their model specifically. The top one appears to look like a model 1 1st issue, however the serial seems to high for that. (23239) I assume it's a 1 1/2? The bottom one is a single shot that I have never seen before. Its serial is 4557. Attached are some "ok" quality photos, I didn't have my good camera.

Any help with identifying these models would be greatly appreciated. Some forums look down upon valuing; if it is ok, could anyone give me a ballpark estimate?

Thanks everyone!

Welcome! The revolver is a model 1 second issue, as it has the larger side plate instead of the small round version of the first issue. Someone here can be more specific, but it was likely made in the Civil War period (1861?). Comments about its bore/chamber/mechanical condition would help with a value estimate also.

The other one is not an S & W, I think, but again someone here can probably ID it for you. Hope this is helpful.

The bottom pistol is a Frank Wesson Model 1862 .22 cal. single shot manual extractor pistol, 2nd model. About 12,000 of these were made. Current value is about $135-$175.
