Default Lemon Squeezer parts and repair

I have a third model Safety Hammerless in .38 S&W that has some hammer rebound issues. Does anyone know where to get parts and or repairs done on this old timer Ser# 120xxx

There's a link on this Forum to a list of parts suppliers, however you need to know what specific part(s) you need for your gun. First thing you need to do with these older revolvers is to thoroughly clean the action and the insides, and disassemble the gun, if necessary. Often the problem is not parts, but 100 Yrs, of old grease, crud and assorted critters residing therein. Remove those obstacles and the gun works perfectly. Good luck Ed.

Thanks for your input...this gun had a broken main spring and when I replaced it the new problem arose...too much spring pressure...he iside of the action is spotless.

"...too much spring pressure...". Wrong spring? Compare length, width, taper and arch of the spring with the broken one. The strain screw should be tightened all the way for the rebound feature to work properly. Mike #283

Mike is correct. The mainspring strain screw is the key to getting these guns, and most S&Ws, to work properly. Tighten it all the way. Ed.
