I just got this 1906 Safety Hammerless .32 lettered. As expected, it shipped with the standard black grips, and these wood grips are aftermarket. Still, they are very professionally made, fit very well, and from the way things looked underneath when I removed them, they've been on the gun a long time. Don't know much about wood types, but people who claim they do tell me it's burly walnut. Wondering whether they were commercially made. Anyone seen this style before?
