RARE American Model in .22LR Single Shot!
I bought this at the SWCA Annual in Columbus this past week. I think it's factory. It is an American Model made into a .22 LR Single Shot. I do plan on shooting it.

I have a Model 3 .22 single-shot conversion that I picked up a few years ago. Mine has a complete new breech block to replace the cylinder. Your cut down and sleeved cylinder is certainly interesting.

Tom
I like yours better! Wanna sell it? These conversations could be another collecting line.

I like mine pretty well and I think I'll hang on to it. I have a couple of other .22 conversions from centerfire, one a Model 10 and the other a 1917. They don't really fit in this forum category but here they are.
Model 10 - chambered for .22LR
Triple Lock sn# 2747 chambered in .22 Long Rifle
You had mentioned intending to shoot your American - I've shot the Model 3 conversion. I really need to start shooting from the bench or some other kind of supported rest, I can't do the guns justice by shooting standing.

The link I posted goes to the middle of the thread, to my comment about having a .22 1917. The original post in the thread (by gripper) is about the Triple Lock .22, here: Triple Lock sn# 2747 chambered in .22 Long Rifle
