? S&W cleaning rods
Are these S&W? Or Colt? If S&W, what era?

The top one could be a S&W cleaning brush. I doubt the bottom one has any connection to a S&W. Cleaning brushes/rods were often purchased by the factory from outside sources, so there is little continuity in the features that can assure one that a particular item is a factory supped item. Ed.

These cleaning rods came with top-break boxes I've acquired over the years. I've also heard that these were purchased by S&W from outside sources, but supplied with guns.
