Default Latest Latest, .32 DA 4th Model

This is going to be my last for a while. I won this a few weeks ago at an auction and it finally arrived. The finish looks really nice, but I am suspicious that it was refinished since; the hammer and trigger look blued and I think they should be case hardened, the bore, while not bad is not is not as pristine as the nickel, and it looks like someone did a clumsy job of removing the front sight. Given that I probably paid too much, but it is a 6" barrel and I am happy enough to keep it. All numbers match. SN is 247623, anyone care to take a stab at BOD?

That is a 32 Double Action, 4th Model, shipped around 1905. It does look refinished to me, since the S&W logo looks a little blurred and there appears to be some rounding or the edges here and there. I picked up a blued 6" 247765 a couple months ago that was shipped in April, 1905, so yours and mine could well have been in an order from some distributor.

Here is the 32 DA with my 32 Bicycle Gun.
