I acquired a very nice No.1 today with very little wear. bluing is 85-90%. I am in need of a few parts and can not find them.
Cylinder Stop Split Spring
Cylinder Stop Pivot Pin
can anyone help me with these parts or point me in the right direction. numrich is out of stock.

No one has these parts available online anymore. The only sure way to find that many parts is to buy a working beater Model 1 and borrow the parts you need. It is possible that someone on this Forum might have some parts, so put an ad in the Want to Buy section as well.

S&W No. 1 3rd model parts

I was in need of a few parts, mostly V springs and pins for some of my tip ups and top breaks and could not find them. I finally made them from spring stock. Even if you are a hobby gunsmith, you can fabricate them with simple stock, propane torch and detailed info on annealing the springs. May take a few tries but eventually you will complete one or two. I gave up looking for parts and that was the way I acquired the parts for the guns. AGI has two great DVD's on how to make springs. They are well worth the price and a wealth of info by Bob Dunlap Master Gunsmith Instructor with AGI.
