Top Break Identification
From what limited knowledge I have I think this is a 3rd model. It is 38 S&w and needs a new hammer and hammer stud screw. Can someone confirm model and any suggestions on where to find parts? Numrichs, gb and eBay were no luck. Thank you.

If this is all you have of this firearm, and are having difficulty finding parts for your firearm, which is expected, YOU have a parts gun, and would be best parting it out. It has limited value, and ANY value is in its parts.

I have everything, just have it stripped down. Hammer is sheared so it is barely tapping primers. And hammer stud screw is buggered. Thanks.

You will most likely going to have to watch eBay for your parts, since no one has much for sale anymore at the gun parts shops. I see the frame has been heavily polished, as edges are all rounded. Unless the gun has some sentimental or family value, I would not put much money in it. As said above, it may be best suited as a parts gun. These revolvers are cheap in good working order and if you want a 38 DA, I would check some online auctions.

I did not even look at the photo closely enough to see if it had rounded edges and had been polished, like glowe did. With that in mind, it isn't worth it to put any money into this firearm--just part it out. These are COMMON and don't bring much money, even when in good to excellent condition.
