From the information that I've found online I believe this is a Smith & Wesson Model 1, Second Issue. The serial number is 111075. The grips are stamped with the same number internally. I've seen some sources that date this to 1867. Can anyone confirm this date?

The cylinder is marked "PATENTED APRIL 3 1855, JULY 5 1859, & DEC 19 1860", and the barrel is marked "SMITH & WESSON SPRINGFIELD MASS."
